Meet
Our Hosts
Caleb James K.
Caleb James K. is the former Editor-in-Chief of the literary journal, Drunken Pen Writing, and the host of the DPW Podcast. He’s also a fiction writer, poet, and aspiring novelist.
Spencer Church
A former aspiring comic book artist, Spencer is the cohost of the DPW Podcast as well as a short story writer and avid reader.
In today’s cold open, we discuss some old/new publishing news as of the recording of the episode. After that, we discuss some of the most infamously difficult books in literature and why you should either read them or throw them over a mountain.
BOTM #27: The Buffalo Hunter Hunter – Drunken Pen Writing Podcast
For our October Book of the Month, we are discussing The Buffalo Hunter Hunter by Stephen Graham Jones. Also, stick around until the end if you're interested in the nonsense that is Finnegans Wake.
You can follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter @dpwpodcast.
